I had seen these infuser mugs in a museum gift shop while traveling but didn’t want to pack anything fragile in my bags, so I waited till I was home to purchase a couple online. This Klimt mug and the van Gogh Sunflowers mug I purchased are both so beautiful, and the infuser makes loose leaf tea so much easier to brew than the infuser ball I was using before. Instead of having a ball whose chain usually sinks into the cup and has to be fished out, and which is very hot to handle, the infuser insert for this mug sits neatly over the mouth and is easily lifted out by its handle which stays cool. I bought one of these for myself and one for my husband, and I will definitely order a few more for future gifts as they are both unique and utilitarian.

It is a pleasure to drink from this mug and to have a matching lid. The finish is so smooth with glistening colors with a great reproduction of the painting completely covering the mug, front and back! The china has a refined feeling of luxury.
